I know that there is paid parking at the hotels now, but do you need to pay for the parking if you have a dining reservation?

Hello Victor! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

I think you'll be happy to know that paid parking at the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels is only for overnight Guests.  When you are visiting a resort for a dining reservation you are considered a Day Guest. Day Guests are given complimentary self parking to enjoy the dining, shopping and entertainment options that each resort has to offer.

In case you're in need of some dining recommendations at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I'm going to throw my favorites into the ring.  For breakfast or dinner, my family and I love Cape May Cafe located at Disney's Beach Club Resort. 'Ohana for dinner, located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, is a great spot to try out. If you get a dinner reservation close to the time of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll be able to see them from your table. The restaurant dims the lights and pipes in music from the show. It's incredible! For something truly special, you might be interested in Brunch At The Top at California Grill inside the very iconic Disney's Contemporary Resort. I recently enjoyed brunch here and it was the best meal I've ever had. I keep recommending it to everyone I know.

I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
