I know there are outside viewing spots for Wishes. How would the TCC work? It looks straight across from MK. Then how would we get back to AoA? Still almost a year for us, but that's a lot better than 499 days. Thanks for the help!

    Hello, Charlene!

Today you are one day closer to your magical vacation! My family often views Wishes nighttime spectacular outside of the Magic Kingdom theme park. Although you can see Wishes from the Ticket and Transportation Center, there are a few other places that you might consider. Here are a few of our favorites:

         • Disney's Contemporary Resort There is an observation deck on the fourth-floor Concourse where you will find a unique view with limited seating. My son loves this area because monorails enter and exit the structure right above the area. You might consider booking a late dinner at California Grill to view the fireworks from your table or the exclusive outside viewing area located on the top floor of the Contemporary.
         • Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Just a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to watch Wishes from the boat dock and had a fabulous view. You can also grab a snack (a Dole Whip, of course) and head over to the beach area.
         • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa This resort hotel offers great views from the beach and boat dock, but we love the view from Narcoossee’s. This water view of the fireworks is spectacular, not to mention the delicious almond crusted cheesecake with raspberry sauce.

When you are ready to go back to Disney's Art of Animation Resort, you will need to take the Resort Monorail back to the Magic Kingdom station. From there it is a short walk to the bus loading area where you will find a bus back to your resort hotel.

I hope these suggestions help you find the perfect place for your family to watch Wishes! Please visit us again with any questions you may have as you continue to plan your visit.

    Have a magical day!
