Hi there, Deanna!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question! It sounds like you enjoy planning your vacations well in advance (just like me!). I always like knowing I have multiple trips ahead of me, even if it's just camping in the forest or a weekend getaway.
Although I don't yet know when 2027 reservations will open up, I’m hopeful they’ll follow a similar pattern to last year.
Vacation Packages and hotel reservations for 2026 were released in mid‑August, so late summer feels like a good time to keep an eye out. I recommend following the
Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland social channels for the latest announcements.
In the meantime, you might consider setting up a separate savings account just for your vacation. It's a great way to "pay yourself" over time and keep your travel funds organized. If your bank offers a decent interest rate, you may even earn a little extra to spend on treats (like churros!) during your vacation.
Have you picked a hotel yet? I love
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa for its beautiful Craftsman-style design, convenient access to the parks, and delicious restaurants.
Storytellers Cafe hosts my favorite Character Dining breakfast, and
GCH Craftsman Grill has incredible lunch options. I usually get the Poke Bowl or Avocado Panzanella when they are available. So good!
The
Disneyland Hotel is another fantastic choice, offering a nostalgic vibe full of history and charm, not to mention the fun pools. My kids love the Monorail-themed waterslides! If you are thinking about
Pixar Place Hotel instead, be sure to say hi to Bing Bong if he is hanging out in the lobby. On select nights, you may even be able to catch the fireworks from the pool deck. How cool is that??
Deanna, I hope you can book your dream Disneyland vacation soon! If you have more questions, feel free to send them to me!
Magic Happens!
Jen
