Hi there, Kathryn! The
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit is one of my favorite reasons to stay at a deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotel! The special benefit allows me to be in the Disney Parks at my favorite time – late at night!
The two parks that frequently offer Extended Evening Theme Park Hours are Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. For most of the year, EPCOT hosts extra hours on Monday nights while Magic Kingdom Park extends their hours on Wednesday nights. It’s important to note that the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit is for Guests staying at deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
Now, things are currently operating a little differently. Due to “party season” (Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and then Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party) at Magic Kingdom Park, the Extended Evening Theme Park hours benefit has shifted to include EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. However, once January rolls around, the Extended Evening Theme Parks Hours benefit will likely shift back to the traditional Mondays at EPCOT and Wednesdays at Magic Kingdom Park.
I mentioned above that the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit is for Guests staying at deluxe Walt Disney World Resort hotels. However, the
Early Theme Park Entry benefit is available for Guests of all Walt Disney World Resort hotels! This benefit allows Guests to enter any theme park, any day of the week, 30 minutes before the posted opening time!
Kathryn, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Calendar! Dates and times for the Extended Evening Theme Park Hours benefit will be posted on the calendar once we get a little closer to January!
Dreams do come true!
