Do you know when the new phone appts. for DAS pass will begin?

    Hi Kim!

Looks like you have a holiday visit to Walt Disney World on your calendar! The zillions of twinkling lights, the thousands of poinsettias, and hundreds of fabulously decorated Christmas trees that adorn the parks are so festive even Scrooge McDuck has to smile.

The Disability Access Service (DAS) is part of Disney's "unwavering commitment to providing a welcoming, inclusive, and accessible environment."  For Guests with disabilities that make waiting in queues too difficult, DAS grants return times so the line may be avoided. Walt Disney World has announced that sometime this fall, Guests will be able to apply for DAS up to 30 days in advance by live video chat. The start date for this new system has not yet been released. Currently Guests must visit Guest Services and be helped by a Cast Member in person. Let's hope the ability to complete the process by video chat will begin before your arrival. Follow the Disney Parks Blog to learn more information as it becomes available.

Wishing you the very merriest visit to see Mickey!
