Ahoy, Leslie, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm thrilled you have an upcoming adventure on the
Disney Magic! My 8- and 10-year-old boys embarked on their very first Disney Cruise last April on the Disney Magic and, let me tell you, it was beyond our wildest dreams. Get ready to be treated like royalty!
Thank you for your great question, Leslie. While entertainment is always subject to change, I anticipate that the following movies will be playing during your particular sailing:
-Elio (PG)
-Inside Out 2 (PG)
-Lilo & Stitch (2025) (PG)
-Moana 2 (PG)
-Mufasa: The Lion King (PG)
-Captain America: Brave New World (PG-13)
-Magic of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point (PG)
-Magic of the Disney Treasure (PG)
-Snow White (Live Action) (PG)
-Thunderbolts (PG-13)
Buena Vista Theater can be found on Deck 5 (aft) and has showings all the live-long day. My family rarely goes to the movie theater at home, so while aboard a Disney Cruise, it's a very special treat. My son really could spend all day at the Buena Vista Theater! And, why not?
Or, for some fresh air and a really unique viewing experience, pull up a lounge chair and enjoy beloved Disney classics on Funnel Vision at Goofy's Pool located on Deck 9.
Be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the most up-to-date movie offerings and show times once onboard, Leslie. The app will be your best pal while onboard (besides Mickey Mouse, of course!) and also includes a daily schedule of every activity happening onboard the ship - so you won't miss a thing. Just add a little "heart" next to anything that catches your eye, and it will automatically create your own personal itinerary.
If you really want to add a bit of magic to your movie-watching experience, Leslie, consider purchasing a specialty popcorn bucket on the first day of your cruise! With your very own popcorn bucket (that's totally cute and a delightful souvenir too), take advantage of discounted popcorn refills throughout your entire voyage - and beyond! And don't forget to bring it with you at night for those Broadway-style live shows in
Walt Disney Theatre.
As someone who loves planning every detail of an upcoming vacation, sometimes it's difficult for me to not know the exact schedule ahead of time. But, oh my goodness, there's nothing like stepping into that Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow aboard your Disney Cruise with everything all planned out for you. So, my friend, relax, pull up a chair, and enjoy the show!
