I know the monorail isn't available for evening EMH anymore, but is it running for hard ticket events like MVMCP? Since the park closes at 7:00, I wanted to know if we can take the monorail back to the Polynesian after the party.

Hi Kathleen!

It just breaks my heart that the monorail hours have been cut - boo hoo! You are correct that it no longer runs during Extra Magic Hours; however, it will run for a while during hard ticketed events, such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. From what I understand, the Express monorail will stop running one hour after the park officially closes to the general public and the Resort monorail will continue to run up to an hour after the fireworks during the party. Honestly, I'm not sure how concrete these hours are and I would absolutely double check with a Cast Member when you arrive. So sorry that I can't be of more help!
