I know this is the mom panel, and I am not coming with children. Our children are grown and this the first time we have come alone. I just found out I can't have gluten or milk. where can I eat?

    Hey Alice!

No worries about having a question not involving children.  I take several solo trips to Walt Disney World each year.  If we're being honest, I have just as much fun without my kids (just don't tell them that, ok?).  Going to Walt Disney World on an adults-only trip is magical in its own way.

As for your allergies, no worries there, either!  Walt Disney World dining locations are very accommodating for guests with allergies.  You can eat practically anywhere and find a gluten-free or milk-free option.  When you make your Advanced Dining Reservations for sit-down meals, be sure to make a note on your reservation noting the allergy.  A chef will come out and speak to you about the options available.  At counter service locations, simply ask the Cast Member at the register about the allergy-friendly options and either a manager or chef will make sure your meal is prepared properly.

There are several unofficial sites dedicated to allergy-friendly eating at Walt Disney World.  One of my favorites is http://www.allergyfreemouse.com.  You can get a great deal of first-hand information and get a good idea of which restaurants you may want to visit.

Please let me know if you have any other questions, Alice.

    Have a magical day,
    Ashley
