Drew, hello and welcome to
planDisney! I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian here to chit-chat about an upcoming Walt Disney World vacation. Waving hello from somewhere in the state.
I am an avid Minne ear collector and wearer. In fact, a Walt Disney World vacation doesn't officially start until I put my headband on! I think you'll be happy to know that for the most part, you can leave your Minnie ears on for most attractions at Walt Disney World throughout the day. Of course, while enjoying the higher speed thrill rides you'll either be asked to take them off or will need to hold on to them while they are on your head. These attractions include
Rock"n" Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith,
Avatar Flight of Passage,
Space Mountain and things like that. On other attractions like
"it's a small world",
Kilimanjaro Safaris and lower impact rides of that nature you are able to keep your ears on no problem.
Minnie and Mickey ears that you can find and purchase at Walt Disney World are incredibly well made. I've not had a problem with a single pair that I've purchased over the years. I know that I actually have some Minnie ears that are over 10 years old and I just wore them last week when I was there. They are still in great shape. If you purchase a floral pair of Minnie ears while you are at Walt Disney World, I wouldn't worry one bit about losing any of the petals that are on the ears. I have a pair from the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival from a few years ago and the flowers are still intact. If a problem does arise with a newly purchased pair of ears, you would just need to speak with a Cast Member and they would absolutely take care of that for you.
Drew, I know you are going to have so much fun on your Walt Disney World vacation and wearing Minnie Ears are just going to add to the experience. If you have any other questions while you plan your most magical vacation, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy planning!
Jackie H.
