What do you know about the meal plans and would you recommend them? Also, what dining suggestions do you have if we don't want to go ONLY to themed restaurants with a 7&9 yr old? We have a car. What else is a MUST SEE and DO?!?!?!

    Hi Karen,

I have been on the meal plan and love it!  There is the regular Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan.  I have not tried the deluxe, so I will not comment on that but instead refer you to the Regular Dining Plan link and deluxe Dining Plan link so you can view what is offered on both the plans and the differences between the two.

One of my favorites is the Coral Reef Restaurant located in Epcot at the Living Seas Pavilion.  The atmosphere in this restaurant is amazing and the food,  top notch.  I am sure your children will love watching all of the 85 different species of fish, including sharks and sting ray's (also the occasional diver!) that swim around the extremely large salt water tank that is the focal point of your dining experience and in full view of all the tables.

My other suggestions again are located in Epcot: All of the pavilions featuring specialty food selections from each of the participating countries give a vast knowledge and enjoyment of the different cultures and some customs from the particular countries you will be visiting.  Please enjoy your dining, whichever you choose and remember to bring your appetite, you eat a lot on the Dining Plan.

    Bon Appetite,
    Brigitta
