I know that this may seem like a silly question, but as a concerned mommy, I wanted to make sure. Our family will be coming to WDW next week. I have a 7 month old daughter. Is it necessary that I buy a pair of shoes for my daughter?

    Hi Siewan,

No question is ever silly when it comes to vacationing at Walt Disney World, it is a lot to take in. If your daughter is walking, or taking steps at all I would definitely recommend having a pair of shoes on hand for the times when you take her out of the stroller. The ground gets very hot during the day and you wouldn't want your little angel to accidentally take an excited step and hurt those precious feet. Even though Disney Cast Members work tirelessly to keep everything clean, shoes are good to have just for sanitary and safety measures. If your daughter is not a walker just yet, then shoes would be optional. Just ensure that she is comfortable in the warm weather in whatever she normally wears. If that means no socks no shoes, by all means, let her be free so that your vacation will be enjoyed by all. I hope this helps.
