I know this is a matter of preference, but I need an expert opinion. I am debating between Crystal Palace and Whispering Canyon with my family and boys ages 5 and 3. Need to be near MK. What is the best overall dining experience (food and atmosphere?)

    Hi Lauri,

This is what I love about this panel, it gives me the opportunity to share my opinions...and boy do I have a lot of them!  Personally, I would have to say that the Whispering Canyon Cafe offers the ideal dining experience for little boys and adults alike!  The food is melt in your mouth good, and the service is wildly funny.  It is the perfect place for allowing the kids to be loud and rowdy, and they'll have the opportunity to participate in hobby horse races and sing-a-longs.   This dining experience can be enjoyed by guests of all ages and personalities -- even my typically shy and reserved family opened up and joined in on the fun.

Now I'm not knocking the Crystal Palace, we eat here at least once every trip but it is a much less relaxed dining experience.  You are so focused on the characters visiting your table, in-between your trips to the buffet, you don't really have the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely meal.  That has been my experience at least.

I hope this was helpful, have a wonderful trip!
