Hi, there!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marika. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!
I visited the Walt Disney World Resort while pregnant two years ago, and even though I couldn't enjoy some of my favorite thrill attractions, I was surprised by how many attractions I
could experience safely! There are just over 30
attractions that expectant mothers are advised not to ride. Kilimanjaro Safaris is included on that advisory list. That said, I did ride this attraction while I was pregnant. At the time, I was only in my first trimester and felt that I could safely and comfortably ride. Had I gone in my third trimester, however, I think I would have been very uncomfortable! My best advice is to consult your doctor to discuss your specific pregnancy and the rides you'd like to experience. For more
information about attractions and entertainment that expectant mothers can enjoy, call a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-5277. My dear friend and fellow panelist,
Kristen, has some great advice about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort while pregnant. I hope you find it helpful!
Did you know that
Senses - A Disney Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort offers an Expectant Mother Massage? I enjoyed a few hours of peace, pampering, and indulgence at this lovely spa just last month - - I highly recommend a visit!
If you have any other questions Marika, please let me know!
