How do I know when Magical Hours are soI can coordinate my dining experiences? Also, what are the most desired rides to assure FP for them? Kids will be 6&9 when we go.

Hi Raquel! I love that you are planning ahead for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

The park hours for each theme and water park go out as far as 180 days. That means, for your upcoming mid-August vacation, park hours, including Extra Magic Hours, should be available around mid-February.

Since you will also want to make your Advance Dining Reservations 180 days in advance, here is what I suggest you do. Decide which theme parks you plan to visit, select the restaurants you want to enjoy while visiting each location, choose a back-up choice or two, just in case, and think about what meal times you will want those reservations. When the calendar updates with park hours at 180 days out, you can see which park has Extra Magic Hours, plan which park to go to that day and immediately make your dining reservations since you already made a list of top choices!

For FastPass+, I'll give you my top three suggestions at each of the four theme parks. Magic Kingdom Park: Peter Pan's Flight, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and Space (or Splash!) Mountain. Epcot: Frozen Ever After, The Seas with Nemo & Friends and Turtle Talk With Crush (be sure to get to Soarin' and Test Track early in the day and/or during Extra Magic Hours for shorter wait times). Disney's Hollywood Studios: For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration, Toy Story Mania!, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. Disney's Animal Kingdom: Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain and Kilimanjaro Safaris.

I hope this helps! Happy planning!
