    I know Magic Kingdom has a show to open the park. What is it like at Animal Kingdom at " rope drop" ?

    Hi Dawn!

    Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

    The Magic Kingdom has the most extensive and elaborate opening show, but all of the other parks have a small opening show as well.  I personally like the Magic Kingdom's show first, then Disney's Hollywood Studios, then Epcot, and finally Disney's Animal Kingdom.  Disney's Animal Kingdom has a fun but short show staring classic Disney characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse, getting ready for a safari.  They arrive via a "safari truck".  It's definitely worth seeing if you can get to the park early!
