How do I know when the magic express will be able to pick us up? I want to plan my flight around the same time they will be there to pick us up

Hi there, Melanie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

When I arrive at the Orlando International Airport and hop aboard Disney's Magical Express, I know that my vacation has truly begun. I can relax and ride in style while the TV sets the mood with some classic Disney cartoons on the short 45-minute drive.

I am happy to tell you that the Magical Express service was designed to get you to the Walt Disney World Resort as quickly as possible, with no long waits! This means that rather than several scheduled departures throughout the day, the busses are continuously leaving and departing based on the flight arrival and departure times of you the guest! This is why you must provide your flight details when you request the Magical Express service either during the resort booking process or by contacting Disney's Magical Express at (407) 939-1936. Occasionally, there will be a wait to board the bus, but I have never experienced a wait longer than 20 to 30 minutes.

Melanie, once you have booked Disney's Magical Express, and before your arrival, you will receive a set of yellow Magical Express luggage tags. Make sure that you attach these tags to your luggage before departure, and your luggage will magically appear in your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room. Simply proceed to Level 1 of Terminal B to board the Magical Express, no stop at baggage claim required! Please note that if you are arriving after 10:00 pm or before 5:00 am Eastern Time, you will want to stop by baggage claim and grab your own luggage as the luggage retrieval will not be operating between those hours. This timing may be something that you want to consider when looking at flight times.

One last thing to keep in mind, is that you will want to have your MagicBands with you as you board the Magical Express, so make sure that these are in your carry-on baggage.

I hope that this answered your question, Melanie, and please come back by if we can help you as you plan your magical vacation!
