Is there any way to know if a magic band still works? We will not be getting new ones this year but have saved the ones that we have recieved over the past several years. Thank You

Hello Steven and thank you for bringing such a great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I really do love my collection of MagicBands from my families previous trips to Walt Disney World Resort; they're a lovely and colourful reminder of all the fun we've enjoyed plus I also look forward to reusing all my MagicBands and being super colour co-ordinated!
The batteries in MagicBands do seem to last a long time and you may be pleased to hear that Guests can manage their MagicBands via their My Disney Experience accounts like in this MagicBands - Frequently Asked Questions
    Have a great Disney day.
