I read your question and had a moment where I remember asking that very same question the first time we experienced the
MagicBand+. It was an adventure of discovery on that trip to Walt Disney World Resort!
At first, it felt like it did not work, though I was able to get into my room. I figured out that I could see it light up if I gave it a small tap. If you have used it all day and are curious about the battery, you can check the battery status on your
My Disney Experience mobile app as long as it has been paired to your smartphone. In addition, you can press the little button on the backside of the MagicBand+ and see the band lighting colors, which could give you the current battery status. You can continue as long as it does not flash red after pressing the button.
