I will like to know when is the lowest season to go and enjoy the parks and resorts for great prices. I go every year with my family and children, we are a military family and I will like to stay in one of the resorts at least one time.

    Hi Shamille,

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!   Great rates and lower crowd levels are the most important factor for my family when deciding when to visit Walt Disney World.  I have found that January and September are overall the best times to visit.  If you are looking to travel within the next year, I would absolutely suggest trying for this September, simply because this is the lowest crowd levels and Disney is currently running a great special for members of our military.  The only downfall, in my opinion, to traveling in September is the heat/humidity and the hurricane potential.

If you think January would work better for your family, simply prepare yourself for cooler weather.  You may have a few days where swimming would be tolerable, but you also might have a few days when hats & mittens would be appropriate!

You can learn more about  the military offers HERE.   Be sure to check out the section on the "Armed Forces Salute" tickets, it's a great and well deserved perk for members of our military!
