Ahoy Kevin!
We are happy to have you as a returning Guest here at planDisney! So glad you are considering an Alaska cruise for 2022. My family agrees that our Alaskan voyage on the Disney Wonder was our best cruise so far. Captain Mickey has selected so many
amazing ports of call that are filled with unique nature and wildlife excursions. It’s no surprise that my family still raves about our sailing there because Alaska really took cruising to a new level for us.
Currently, Disney Cruise Line itineraries are available for booking through May 2022. So you are not alone in eagerly awaiting news of the rest of that year's sailings. Especially since the
Disney Wish will likely be included in the next release of itineraries with its projected Summer 2022 sailings. Traditionally, Disney Cruise Line releases its new itineraries and dates 15 to 18 months in advance. I would start actively checking the Disney Cruise Line website in February or March just in case. That way, you can be one of the first to get the itinerary of your choice. Be sure to bookmark the
Disney Parks Blog for the most recent Disney Cruise Line developments too.
You are in for a real treat with all the refurbishments on the Disney Wonder, specifically the French Quarter Lounge and Tiana's Place. Did you know that the
French Quarter Lounge has an actual, full-sized cable car inside? Nothing like starting the day with coffee and beignets in the morning or with a nightcap in this charming “Big Easy” setting.
If you like Southern charm and delicious dishes, then
Tiana's Place will definitely add the wow factor. Hands down, our dinner here was the most entertaining night of our rotational dining. Heads up-there’s an indoor street party that breaks out in the restaurant as Tiana and Louie lead a procession while the Crawfish Crooners lay down the tunes.
Kevin, I hope this has you even more excited about booking that sailing to Alaska. As you make all your onboard plans, cruise back to planDisney with more questions. Wishing you a whale of a time on your WONDERful voyage!
Happy Sailing!
