I would like to know what locations are available to stay with 3 beds. I would avoid getting 2 rooms, but I will be with myself, husband and 13 year old, as well as my adult special needs brother. I have additional questions about park tickets too! :)

Hi there, Shalena, and welcome to planDisney! I couldn’t be happier that you’ve stopped by today with this great question about your upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! My Panelist pals and I are here and always thrilled to help our fellow Guests, just like you!

Shalena, you’ll be glad to know that there are plenty of options for Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms that have three beds. I often travel with my large family and, while we love sharing a hotel room, we definitely appreciate having some privacy. Whether you choose a traditional hotel room, a Family Suite, or a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Villa, you’re sure to have a magical vacation. I’ll go through the benefits of each option! And please allow me to encourage you when it comes to traveling with your brother. Walt Disney World Resort goes above and beyond to make Guests of all abilities feel welcome and included. I think you're going to have an amazing time!

I'm going to outline three different types of rooms you might choose from for your vacation. The first is at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, a delightfully colorful vacation spot that will have you feeling like you're in the islands! If you choose a Standard Room with a "5th Sleeper" option, you'll have a room with three beds. One of them, however, is a smaller-sized pull-down bed. My pre-teen didn't have an issue with this size of bed, and you'll want to think about that if your kiddo is on the taller side. This Resort is conveniently located with a Disney Skyliner station and multiple bus routes for easy transportation. Sebastian's Bistro is located on site, and you'll have to check it out regardless of whether you decide to stay here or not - it's one of my favorite restaurants!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort offers a unique type of room called a Family Suite. When you walk in, you'll see a table that actually converts into a pull-down bed! Keep going, and you'll pass by a full bathroom, kitchenette, and living space with a pull-out sofa bed. There is a door that separates this space from the bedroom, which also has its own bathroom - a game-changer for families as you're trying to get ready at the same time each morning! These rooms are great because they offer a little added privacy with the separated bedroom and second bathroom. They're also incredibly themed!

One of the largest and most luxurious types of rooms you'll find is a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Villa at a Deluxe Villa Resort like Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas- Kidani Village. This type of room incudes a full kitchen, washer and dryer, large living space, lots of thoughtful storage, and two separate bedrooms for added privacy. They can sleep up to nine adults, so you'd have plenty of space to spread out and make yourselves at home. My family loves these rooms because we can really take advantage of the kitchen and laundry, meaning we aren't eating out as much and I'm not returning home with a mountain of dirty clothes. We also love the privacy of having our own bedrooms but also the freedom to spend time together in the living space.

Shalena, when it comes to park tickets, I highly suggest checking out the different options and seeing if there are any special offers that might apply to you. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you continue to plan your vacation!

    See you real soon!
