I know its a little early to start planning this....but my husband and I are interested in planning a trip to Disney World holiday season 2013 for our babies first Christmas. Where is the best place to stay with an infant 9ms and how early can we reserve?

    H there, Amber!

It's never too early to star planning your visit to Walt Disney World, especially when you want your pick of Resorts during the holidays.

With the phone representatives at the Walt Disney Travel Company, you can reserve rooms as far out as 599 days! That ought to indicate how very popular the destination is with Guests from all over the world.

When you do book by calling (407) W-DISNEY, you are by no means committing yourself; changes can be made with no penalty up to 45 days out (and with a small fee in that 45-day window).

That applies to any deals or discounts that might be released. If your reservation dates and package fall under the guidelines for the deal or package, you can certainly work with your travel professional to get the discount or add-on (e.g. free dining).

With a nine-month-old, you will likely be looking for a larger Resort room that will easily accommodate a stroller and a Pak-n-Play, with no-hassle access to transportation. For that reason, I would recommend any of the Resort hotels along the monorail line: Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. Any of these Deluxe-class hotels will provide adequate space and the convenience of being able to roll that stroller right onto the monorail.

The came caliber of Resort within walking distance of Epcot is also available: Disney's Yacht Club, Disney's Beach Club, and Disney's BoardWalk Inn.

Disney's Wilderness Lodge does provide dockside boat launches directly to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, and bus service to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

If you'd like to send me some more specifics about what your travel party is interested in doing or seeing, feel free to drop me a line.

    Happy planning!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
