Hi Susan!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney famously said of his beloved theme park that it would "never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world. It is something that will never be finished." And since Walt Disney World Resort could now be considered an
eat park, too, there technically isn't an official list of all the places where you can find any one specific food item because it, too, would always be changing. I can, however, offer up my semi-professional Walt Disney World Resort cupcake knowledge.
First, your best official source of info will be the
Disney Parks Blog. They feature all kinds of new content daily, some of it even food related. There's even an entire thread dedicated to the
Best Bites and another to Sweet Treats. Flavors, toppings, and even creative designs often change to mirror the seasons (like summer strawberries), theme around whatever the hit new movie release is, and even debut for the holidays, like Halloween and Christmas. Some favorites come back yEAR after year, while others are around for a limited time.
Another good source of Disney food news is the third-party website, the "Disney Food Blog." They have a team of writers (a few being former Moms Panelists!) reporting daily of new offerings and returning favorites. I like to check-in here daily to supply a tiny daily dose of Disney. But if you aren't as calorie crazed, at least stop by as the seasons change and special events near as they'll provide in-depth pictures and reviews of their new findings.
Lastly, while this isn't a list of specific petite pastries you need to try, these are the best locations to find unique and creative delightful desserts:
~
Main Street Confectionery, Magic Kingdom Park
~
Zuri's Sweets Shop, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park
~
The Trolley Car Cafe, Disney's Hollywood Studios
~
Sunshine Seasons, Epcot
~
Contempo Cafe, Disney's Contemporary Resort hotel
~
Roaring Fork, Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort hotel
~
BoardWalk Bakery, Disney's BoardWalk Resort hotel
Bonus Points: for finding a sweet treat in every country in
Epcot's World Showcase or inventing your own dessert crawl by stopping at the various Quick-Service Dining Locations inside the
Disney Resort Hotels connected to Disney's world famous
Monorail or the brand new
Skyliner.
I hope this helped to plan your upcoming Disney Days, Susan, and We'll See You Real Soon!
