Hi Jaquelin!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by with this question. As someone who has traveled to Walt Disney World Resort during two pregnancies, I'm happy to share that there is plenty of magic that you'll be able to enjoy as a mom-to-be!
Jaquelin, while you are not able to filter attractions by those that are safe during pregnancy, you can actually do the opposite and
filter by attractions that have an "Expectant Mothers Advisory." Rather than a list of rides you can do, you'll get a list of rides that have warnings posted specifically for expectant mothers. Another option is to
filter the list of attractions to display "Any Height" rides. This designation means that handheld infants and toddlers are allowed on these attractions, so many (but not all) will also be safe for expectant mothers. As an example,
Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is an "any height" attraction but does carry a warning for expectant mothers due to the rough terrain you may encounter in your safari vehicle. If you want to double-check for any advisories, you can click on a selected ride and then click "Show Safety, Accessibility, and Guest Policies." While I wasn't able to fly with a banshee on Avatar Flight of Passage or enter the grid on TRON Lightcycle / Run, there are A LOT of popular rides I enjoyed during my pregnancies such as Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Haunted Mansion.
When visiting the parks, especially as an expectant mother, I suggest wearing comfortable shoes and staying hydrated. Did you know you can find water bottle refill stations in the parks or grab free cups of ice water from most Quick-Service locations? I also recommend planning lots of breaks into your vacation. A resort day is perfect for putting your feet up or lounging in the pool. You may also want to check out the options included in the
Enchanting Extras Collection such as the
Colors of Coronado Painting Experience and the
Spanish Mosaic Art class, both offered at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, for some unique and fun activities outside of the parks.
Additionally, there are several great ways to commemorate your special visit - starting with grabbing an “I’m Celebrating” button from your Disney resort when you check in. If you’re interested in any maternity photos, Disney offers
Capture Your Moment sessions at each of the four theme parks. These are 20-minute private photo sessions with a Disney PhotoPass photographer. Your session fee does not include the images, but they are included with your
Memory Maker or can be purchased separately. Don’t forget to pick up a souvenir for your little Mouseketeer during your visit like a favorite stuffed Disney character, a first pair of mouse ears, or a super cute onesie!
Jaquelin, I hope this information helps as you prepare to make magical memories on this very special trip! Congratulations and please stop by to see us again if you have any other questions!
See ya real soon!
