Hey there, Stephan!
Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted you've dropped by with a great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be launching into a fun-filled adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth
so very soon. I bet you're counting down the minutes! As you gear up for a trip jam-packed with smiles and laughter, let's chat about
Lightning Lane pass availability.
Stephan, Guests can begin purchasing Lightning Lane passes at
7:00 a.m. Eastern Time on their first day of eligibility. For Guests with Disney Resort hotel reservations, the window of eligibility starts seven days before their scheduled arrival date. Resort hotel Guests can purchase Lightning Lane passes for their length of stay at that time. All other Guests can begin securing Lightning Lane passes at 7:00 a.m. beginning three days before their ticket date for the total number of admission days included in their ticket. With that said, set your alarm clock for an early wake-up! (It'll surely be worth it in the long run when you're enjoying attractions in The Most Magical Place on Earth!)
Before you start purchasing Lightning Lane passes for your upcoming visit, you'll want to make sure that any Guests you'll be traveling with are connected to you via your
Family & Friends List. Doing so will enable you to include one another in Lightning Lane pass purchases and other planning activities. Additionally, make sure that you've made
theme park reservations for your tickets if your admission type requires them. Most standard date-based tickets do
not require reservations, but some
less common types do, like Disney Military Salute Tickets, Florida Resident tickets, sport and convention event tickets, student group tickets, and Annual Passes.
Stephan, I hope you've found this information helpful and I wish you a thrill-packed journey to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions before or during your vacation, you're always welcome to revisit us here at
planDisney. We're all ears!
See ya real soon,
Lauren
