I want to know if life jackets are allowed for children at Typhoon Lagoon?

    Hi Diane,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a question. The long awaited re-opening of Typhoon Lagoon is finally here, and it sounds like you are ready to dive in! Whether you are hanging out with your toddler at Kettchakiddee Creek, sliding down Miss Adventure Falls, braving Humunga Kowabunga, or just relaxing for the day in your own Beachcomber Shack, the whole family is sure to soak up some splash-tastic fun.

Life jackets are complimentary for all guests and are located on self-serve racks throughout the park. You can also bring your own U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets. For safety reasons, other personal floatation devices, like rafts and pool toys, are not allowed.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
