I know last year Disney did not have the haunted carriage ride through the campground. Are they having it this year?

    Hi Michelle,

The Halloween Haunted Carriage Rides are spooktacular fun and I know they were missed last year. I spoke with a very helpful Cast Member regarding your question. She told me that at this time, they haven't announced whether or not the Halloween Haunted Carriage Rides would return this fall. She hoped that they would have more information once they officially release the 2013 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) dates and the event tickets go on sale. They usually release the dates in the spring and the tickets go on sale soon after that announcement. Last year, tickets went on sale for the 2012 MNSSHP dates on May 1, 2012.

The website shows that the Halloween Haunted Carriage Rides may be booked up to 180 days in advance.  However, the Cast Member told me that if they have them this year, they typically don't start booking until about 90 days in advance.

Here's what I'd do. Disney likes to keep us on our toes so you never know when an official announcement regarding the 2013 MNSSHP dates will happen. Keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for an announcement. If you're on twitter, be sure to follow @DisneyParks and @WaltDisneyWorld. You can also keep your eyes on the official Walt Disney World Facebook page. Once those dates are released, call 407-WDW-PLAY (407-939-7529) to ask about the Halloween Haunted Carriage Rides.

Of course, you're also welcome to check back with us because we'll always be hEAR to help!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
