Do you know when the large Easter egg display at the Grand Floridian will begin? We love going every year, but can't seem to find dates for this year. Thanks you your time.

Hi Paula! Easter at Walt Disney World is full of fun and lots of activities. Some resorts will go all out and have baskets available for their guests to purchase or have their recreation team plan fun activities such as egg hunts for the younger guests. If you are planning a stay on property be sure and check with your resort about what kind of things they will be planning this year.

Easter is on April 16 this year and the fabulous Grand Floridian resort will again host the beautiful large decorated egg display. These eggs are designed and decorated by the Disney pastry chefs and all will have some sort of a Disney related theme. I can certainly understand why you would want to make a trip there to see it every year. This will be the sixth year of this and it has become a must see for many guests.

The display will be up from April 11-19 and can be located in the large Grand Floridian lobby. I will unfortunately have to miss this year but can't wait to see pictures of the eggs and pick my favorite!
