Hiya Sandra!
I'm so glad you brought these questions here to planDisney! You sound like a busy MamaBear like me, so your question brought a big smile to my face because my little Mouseketeer loves his goldfish crackers too! I hope you had a great time at the
Disneyland Resort with your little Mouseketeers this week. For your next adventure, I'd love to share some ideas and tips that work for my family.
One thing I love about bringing my youngling to the resort is that
outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted throughout the parks and the
Downtown Disney District! This way I can pack all of the bare necessities so that my little man-cub can rest at ease. I always pack his favorite snacks in several small sandwich bags and bring his sippy cup with his favorite juices for him to enjoy as we meander the parks and wait in line for attractions.
When my husband joins us, he loves to back frozen water bottles to keep deli meats, fruits, and cheeses fresh. When the bottles melt, we're left with chilled water or a sports drink to enjoy after a long hot day. I also make sure to have a reusable bottle with me at all times so that I can use it at the frequent
filling stations located throughout the resort.
One of my favorite tips is to stop by the
Baby Centers at either park for a few moments of privacy. These air-conditioned, centers are furnished with nursing chairs, refrigerators, and cozy changing tables for freshening up!
Bringing the comforts of home for my little one not only keeps him happy, it makes me feel free to splurge on tasting the
seasonal offerings of snacks and dining that are always filling the resort with such vibrant smells!
But Sandra, I have to warn you: wagons and carts are no longer permitted inside of the parks or at the Downtown Disney District. However, I see guests brining a wide array of strollers that
fit within the 31 x 52 inch (or 79 x 132 centimeter) dimensions permitted at the resort. If the chariot that you already have for your little princes and princesses doesn't meet these standards, a very popular option is to
rent a single or double stroller for the day from Stroller Rental at either the Disneyland Resort or Disney California Adventure parks.
Bonus tip: The stroller dimensions are outlined on the ground just before you enter any security checkpoint. This way, you can make sure that your stroller fits within the resort's boundaries before even entering the security line!
I hope this answers your questions and helps you to plan a smooth and pleasant day at the resort with your younglings in the future. If you have follow-up questions, I'd love to help you again. Just know that you are welcome to
message me directly now that you've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon!
