Hello, I know kids under 3 yrs old can enter Disney for free. My question is, do they need still need some sort of ticket or placeholder if you will. Or I simply buy tickets for 2 adults, and show up with our kid. Thank you!

Hello there, Daranee! A warm planDisney welcome to you!

I am so excited for you and your family to be visiting the Disneyland Resort! You will love discovering the recently reopened Mickey's Toontown, which was reimagined for the whole family to enjoy. It features new play areas, attractions, and dining. Don't forget to take a Disney PhotoPass photo with your favorite character at Mickey's House or Minnie's House!

Regarding your question, you are absolutely correct. To visit the Theme Parks you will simply purchase two Theme Park Tickets for ages 10+. After purchasing your tickets, you can find them on your Disneyland Mobile App by pressing on the hamburger icon (≡) and then on the Tickets and Passes tile. When you arrive at the main gates, you will show the Cast Members these tickets on your app to enter the parks.

Daranee, have you considered reserving a Character Dining experience during your vacation? I highly recommend it because it is a special way to visit with your favorite characters while having a fantastic meal. And since your child is under the age of three, they may share from your plate at no additional charge! My family and I love Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet located inside Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. I recommend making your reservations in advance!

I hope this information is helpful to you, Daranee. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to return--you can even ask me directly

    Your Pal,
