Hi there, Emily!
So I'm not the only one with eyes bigger than my budget? I'm not usually much into shopping. But there are a number of items on my list that I hope to take home from our family's next visit to the Disneyland Resort. It may take some restraint for me to stick with the plan!
The
Disneyland Resort merchandise return policy is pretty straightforward. For the most part, new and unopened items with original tags still attached may be returned in the original form of payment within 30 days of the purchase. Please hold on to your receipts for the smoothest transaction possible. Returns without a receipt may be issued in the form of a merchandise credit and will require a valid government-issued ID. Items marked "as-is," "no refunds," or similar wording cannot be returned for a refund. Personalized items may also not be returned.
Tony's Tip: If you purchase a balloon that experiences, ahem, an "accidental" deflation, no worries! Take the remnants of the balloon and your receipt to a balloon vendor for a complimentary replacement!
You will find some common items at various merchandise locations throughout the Disneyland Resort. But you will certainly have an enjoyable shopping experience with the variety that can also be found at different stores. The larger shops where you are likely to find some of the more common items include the
Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park,
Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure Park, and
World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District. Some of my favorite locations to find unique items include
Knick's Knacks in Pixar Pier and
Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Don't forget to treat yourself too, Emily! I recommend exploring the several boutiques through the winding streets of New Orleans Square. My wife and I usually end up at La Mascarade d'Orleans where we can pick out a new charm for her Pandora bracelet. We also adore browsing
Disneyana next to the
Main Street Opera House.
Tony's Tip Times Two: Sometimes it is worthwhile to consolidate purchases. At some locations, there are multiple shops that are directly connected with each other. Some examples include the shops from Plaza Point to Disney Clothiers, Ltd. on Main Street, U.S.A. or Los Feliz Five & Dime connected through Elias & Co. on Buena Vista Street. Save time by paying for all of your purchases from a set of connected shops all at once by taking your selections to a single cashier in one of the shops. If you are a
Disney Visa Cardmember, you can also save 10% off of purchases of $50 or more at many Disneyland Resort merchandise locations. So combining selections from these connected stores can help save money too!
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Emily. See ya real soon!
