I know that the Keys to the Kingdom tour can be booked 60 days out, but does that open at midnight or 6:00am? Also, I have a gluten allergy - is there a way to add that to the reservation for lunch? Thanks so much!

    Hiya Heather,

Welcome to planDisney! We are so excited that you are here and we can help be a riny part of the magic of planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Let’s get to your great question, Heather! As an avid planner, the 60 days leading up to my vacation are a big deal. That’s when you get to book your advanced dining reservations and Enchanting Extras like the Keys to the Kingdom tour. I know advanced dining reservations traditionally release at 6 am EST, and some reservations have been known to magically appear earlier. When I spoke to a Cast Member, they said that Keys to the Kingdom tend to release at 7 am EST at the 60-day window (note that just like dining reservations, if you are staying onsite as a Guest of one of the Resort Hotels, you can make reservations for up to 10 days of your reservation on that first day). If you are like me and always just a little worried that something will drop early and you will miss it, you can always check the website before 7 am. As for documenting your gluten allergy on the submission form, there isn’t currently an option for food allergies under special requests. I recommend calling a Cast Member in Tours and Recreation to add a note to your reservation and, when you check in, following up with a Cast Member to ensure it is accounted for.

I hope this was helpful, Heather. Before I let you go, don’t forget that all Guests participating must be at least 16 years old and that this is an outdoor tour. Depending on when you visit, it may be a little rainy, so make sure to bring a poncho and some extra socks just to be safe. If you need anything else, please come back and see us.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
