Hey, howdy, hey Sondra, and welcome back to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by with this question. I remember the days of trading Quick Service Credits for Snack Credits when we wanted more snacks. It was worth the trade and expanded our dining plan options.
Since the
Disney Dining Plan and
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan will be coming back in 2024 there are some details we are still unsure about. One of those is "trading down" meals such as "trading down" a
Table Service Credit for a
Quick Service Credit or "trading down" a Quick Service or Table Service Credit for Snack Credits. The old, publically unpublished allowance that seemed to vary by Cast Member, was that you could trade a meal credit for three snacks provided you received all the snacks when you traded the meal. In other words, you could not trade the Quick Service Meal Credit in for one snack and then later get the other two snacks. Also, Guests have not been able to use Quick Service Credits for Table Service Meals for years and I too am interested if this will be allowed.
My advice is to pay close attention to the
Walt Disney World Resort website,
Disney Parks Blog, and the
Disney Parks Instagram pages for the latest Disney Dining Plan updates.
planDisney Pro Tip: There are many very large snacks across all the theme parks that could be used as a meal. For example, the
Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich at
Sleppy Hollow in Liberty Square is an epic snack that will leave you full till lunch or... your next snack.
Sondra, May 2024 cannot get here fast enough. Please stop back by planDisney for more answers to your specific Disney vacation questions. You may also

Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
