Hi Tracey!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
As a frequent visitor of Walt Disney World Resort since the reopening last July, I've been encouraged with the progress being made to bring back entertainment options Guests have come to know and love. Slowly but surely, Walt Disney World is
Returning to a World of Magic, and more and more magical things are happening each day! I was very encouraged to hear that more Guests were being seated in indoor entertainment venues last week, such as
Country Bear Jamboree, and
Mickey's PhilharMagic, and that
face coverings are now optional in all outdoor areas in parks and resorts.
Nothing makes my heart happier than ending the day at a Walt Disney World theme park than enjoying an amazing Nighttime Spectacular. Whether it's
Fantasmic! at
Disney's Hollywood Studios or
Happily Ever After at
Disney's Magic Kingdom Park, there's just no better way to celebrate than with some awesome Disney entertainment. I'm on the edge of my seat to see what's in store with
Epcot’s upcoming fireworks spectacular, HarmonioUS, but good things come to those who wait, right?
I'm keeping a very close eye on the
Disney Parks Blog, and on Walt Disney World on
Facebook and
Twitter for any announcements about fireworks returning to Walt Disney World Resort. I can't wait until fireworks can once again light up the sky over
Cinderella Castle - cue the tears, and pass the tissues! In the meantime, I'll be enjoying
Character Cavalcades - "mini-parades" throughout the parks, with appearances from all my favorite Disney Characters. While the Festival of Fantasy parade is also temporarily paused, these fun appearances throughout the day have become a really fun entertainment addition during Walt Disney World's phased reopening. I kind of hope they'll continue the cavalcades (and
Flotillas in Disney's Animal Kingdom) - they're really fun!
Thanks again for visiting planDisney - please come back for tips and advice to help make the most of your Disney vacation.
