I have know idea you guys can help me with this but I was wondering if there was a cruise that was only adults. I mean I love kids and all but I really want to go on a Disney Cruise with very few kids. But this has always been a dream of mine.

    Hi Taylor!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Cruising with Captain Mickey has universal appeal to kids and adults alike. But I understand why you want some of the cruise amenities to have a more exclusive, adults-only vibe. Fortunately, Disney Cruise Line caters to those of us who refuse to ever grow up and yet still crave those moments from the melee of kids. So you can keep your dream alive of sailing with Disney!

I love cruising with my girlfriends, and it's our special grown-ups only time. So we know ALL the adult-exclusive spots on the Disney ships. Believe me when I say that you can positively have the feel of an adults-only cruise for a large chunk of the time. Here's my Top 10 List of Adult Exclusive Activities and Spaces Onboard:

    1. Start the morning at Cove Café for a caffeine boost. Beverages at this coffee house enclave where kids are not allowed are extra but the quality and ambiance give it excellent perks.
    2. Take a totally kid-free dip in the Quiet Cove Pool and relax. Or better yet, my guilty pleasure location on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy is Satellite Falls with a sundeck for lounging and a wading pool with cascading shower for chilling.
    3. Treat yourself to a spa treatment at Senses Spa and Salon. From massages to facials, they put the AHH in spa!
    4. My all time favorite splurge is a pass to the Rainforest Room in the Senses Spa and Salon. Picture heated stone loungers, sauna, and jetted showers, oh my!
    5. Try a Beverage Tasting to learn more about your favorite spirits and liquors while making friends. Hey, you may even get to go behind the bar to prepare the drinks like in the Mixology seminar!
    6. Many of the Port Adventures are adult-exclusive or have age restrictions. So even off the ship, adult-centric fun can be found!
    7. Make a reservation at Palo, Northern Italian cuisine perfection. Upscale dining in a romantic setting? Yes please! Palo serves brunch and dinner, and BOTH are amazing. There is a per person cost to dine at Palo, currently $40 per person (and subject to change). But in my opinion, it's SO worth it!
    8. Prepare to laugh a LOT in the nightclubs and  lounges that host comedy acts, magic, and games a plenty such as "Do You Know Your Mate?" This makes for the perfect nightcap with entertainment into the wee hours without a wee one in sight.
    9. Just Dance! My favorite way to burn calories on a Disney cruise is Silent DJ, where everyone dances to music with headphones while listening to different channels. Nothing better than getting to "Bust a Move" (one of our favorite tunes) on the dance floor!
    10. Even Castaway Cay, Disney's private island, has Serenity Bay for adults to get their R &R. It's a secluded slice of paradise away from any kid zones.

So have I convinced you yet about trying a Disney cruise? I SHORE hope so! Stop back by if you need more pointers or suggestions. We'd love to help you plan your adventure at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
