Hello! I would like to know if the hotel's monorail only starts 30min before the park opens, as I am staying in a luxury hotel, I would like to take advantage of the guests' earlier entry, or they starts 30 min prior early entry?

    Hello Claudia!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sending your question our way. There is no more convenient place to stay than a resort along the Walt Disney World Monorail route. It's easy to hop on the "highway in the sky" to reach Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT. Bonus: if you have little ones in your party, you can roll a stroller directly onto the monorail cars without folding it!

Monorail service generally begins at least one hour before regular theme park opening, meaning thirty minutes before Early Theme Park Entry starts. Sometimes, the resort monorail gets going even earlier than that, so I recommend checking current hours once you arrive at your hotel. Monorail operating hours are posted near your resort's station or in the lobby.

I hope this is helpful and you have a fantastic vacation, Claudia. It looks like you'll be arriving during spring break season, so in addition to taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry, I recommend summoning Disney Genie+ Service (especially for your days in Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios). My family uses this time-saving tool when visiting during busy weeks to avoid standby lines at some of our favorite attractions.

Thanks again for coming to see us at planDisney! Best wishes for a memorable visit, and we look forward to welcoming you "home" very soon.

    Have a magical day,
