    we know it can be very hot so are we able to wear a swim suit top with shorts . also are we able to pack little snacks for our kids and bottles of water in backpack. Thank you

    Hi Stacey,

    You can wear swim suit tops with shorts to the parks, but I think you might want to consider that your skin will be so exposed to the bright sun, you might get a sunburn.  I worry about that a lot living here in Florida, so I usually make my daughter wear her bathing suit top with a tank top over it.  Sunscreen covers her shoulders and arms.  Whatever you decide, please make sure you don't forget your sunscreen.

    Yes, you can bring snacks and bottles of water in a backpack.  Just make sure that your backpack is not the rolling kind.  Those aren't allowed in the park.
