Hi, Lynn! Welcome to planDisney. We're delighted to assist you in ensuring everything is in perfect order for your Disney Cruise Line vacation.
Social Media groups can help you connect with fellow passengers before you set sail, creating a wonderful opportunity to share excitement and tips for an unforgettable journey. Some groups organize unofficial gift exchanges, from magnets to recipes to small gifts. What a fun way to explore the ship while you’re handing out your trinkets.
As for leaving plastic or rubber ducks around the ship for others to find, I contacted Disney Cruise Line, and they shared that their policy has stayed the same. Guests cannot hide things, such as rubber ducks, in staterooms or public areas. I know that hunting for ducks has gained in popularity among cruisers, but the small ducks are a safety hazard for other guests and the environment.
One of my favorite ways to add a playful touch to my Disney Cruise is by
personalizing our stateroom door with magnets. The creativity displayed as I walk the hallways always impresses me. It’s fun to see where everyone is from or what they are celebrating. Just remember to avoid using tape or adhesives on the door, but feel free to personalize it in any way that brings you joy.
Before I waddle off, I have one more tip to share. Make sure you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app to your mobile device. You’ll have access to handy deck plans, the activity schedule, your rotational dining details, and more! Lynn, I hope your cruise is filled with magical moments and unexpected delights.
SEAS the adventure!
