Do you know if the Happily Ever After Fireworks Dessert Party with Garden Viewing will be offered in July 2018? If so, when do they usually open the dates for booking?

Hi Michael! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I don't know if I can think of anything more magical and delicious than watching fireworks while enjoying scrumptious desserts at Walt Disney World Resort. The peace of mind that comes with reserving a special viewing spot to fully enjoy Happily Ever After is worth it in my book. The fantastic desserts and delicious drinks are just a sweet addition on top!

I actually had a similar issue a few months ago when trying to book the Fantasmic! Dessert & VIP Viewing Experience for my own upcoming family vacation. I learned that special dining and dessert events do not follow the standard "180 days" rule of advance booking as traditional sit down restaurants. With my dessert party, I was able to see that the event would indeed be held the night that I had hoped to attend at 120 days out. (There is a small calendar on the event's webpage to check dates.)  I was finally able to officially book the dessert party at 90 days before the event.

It looks like you'll be able to check if the Happily Ever After Dessert Party - Plaza Garden Viewing area will be offered during your vacation around late February or early March. Don't forget to check the Tomorrowland Terrace Viewing area where you'll have confirmed seats, or any of the other wonderful sweet events around Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope this helped with your vacation planning, Michael, and we'll see you real soon!
