Hi, just want to know if you guys knew if there are cabs when you come out of the Magic Kingdom? I was worried about the crowds after the parade. Someone told me they wait 2 hrs to get on the bus to get back to the hotel.

    Hi Jessica!

In my experience a two hour wait for a bus back from the Magic Kingdom to a resort is unheard of. Even leaving immediately after fireworks while staying at a large, filled-to-capacity value resort our longest wait has only been about half an hour. Lugging a stroller and bags, carrying a quite heavy sleeping toddler, dealing with exhausted, over excited, whiny children while being cross and tired myself sometimes the wait for a bus has seemed like two hours however. The transportation system knows when peak ridership is and plans extra buses accordingly.

If you do decide you would like to take a taxi back to your hotel either walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort or take the monorail or ferry to the Ticket and Transportation Center. Cabs are typically waiting at the TTC but you might have to call for one at the Contemporary.
