Do you know if Be Our Guest Restaurant will be a character meal at dinner? Also will it be accepted under the DDP (CS during the day or TS at night)? Thanks!

    Hi Alaine!

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your great question!

So far, there has been no mention of Characters being a part of the dining experience at the brand new Be Our Guest Restaurant in the New Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom Park.

Although it hasn't officially been announced, it seems quite likely that the Disney Dining Plan will indeed be accepted since the restaurant is within the park and wholly owned and operated by the park.

Lunch time is Counter Service - with a bit of a twist! You'll place your order in line and then find yourself a table. A server will then deliver your casual meal to you, on china plates, at your table! Dinner is a Table Service Credit under the Disney Dining Plan.

Take a read of this great post on the Disney Parks Blog, where the Chef of this great new restaurant talks about some of his favourite dishes planned for the restaurant and other great details.

I hope you'll visit me again in mid-late August when I should have more details to share with you by then regarding acceptance of reservations, Disney Dining Plans usage at this new dining location and more!

Wishing you a simply Magical time as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation Alaine!
