Peter, thank you for stopping by planDisney with your question. I’m also sailing to Alaska on the
Disney Wonder and anxiously await when we can book our Port Adventures.
I reached out to Disney Cruise Line to see if the
Frozen Deck Party will be returning this summer, but that information still hasn’t been dethawed. Don’t worry, Peter, all the entertainment isn’t on ice.
“Frozen, A Musical Spectacular” will take place in the Walt Disney Theatre for one night of your cruise. Anna, Elsa, and the rest of the “Frozen” cast bring to life the beloved Arendelle story. I’d definitely arrive 15 to 20 minutes before showtime so you can select a seat towards the front and center – you don’t miss out on a single flurry.
You’ll be able to reserve onboard activities for your cruise when your advance booking window opens based on your Castaway Club membership level. You can find your booking date on the reservation page under “My Plans.” I like to read about the
Port Adventures offered on the Disney Cruise Line website before my booking date opens. This way, I have an idea of what I want to reserve.
Once on board, you can see all the onboard entertainment on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, such as shows, trivia, dance parties, and youth activities. I like to look at all the activities offered every day of my sailing and favorite the ones that interest me. When you’re on deck checking out a majestic glacier or just enjoying a second ice cream cone, you’ll get a reminder about 15 minutes before the scheduled activity, so you can take one more picture or eat your last bite and still arrive on time.
I hope you have a spectacular time aboard the Disney Wonder! If you have any additional planning questions, please stop by planDisney again. I’m delighted to help.
SEAS the adventure,
Tracie
