Do you know if the fireworks show is planned during the week before Easter (3-6th of April) or only for Friday, Saturday and Sunday?

Greetings, Monica, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for trusting us with your question about the firework spectaculars at Disneyland Resort. I love talking about live entertainment, parades, and nighttime spectaculars with fellow Guests, so you've come to the right place!

As you may have noticed, the entertainment schedule currently reflects showtimes about 4 weeks in advance. But reviewing it might help give us a clue into the patterns for Wondrous Journeys, which is the current firework spectacular showing at Disneyland Park. At the moment, it looks like Wondrous Journeys with Fireworks is showing on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays each week. The very same show, Wondrous Journeys with Projections shows on Monday - Thursday evenings, but without fireworks.

Monica, I have been lucky to see Wondrous Journeys twice now, from two very distinct vantage points. Without a doubt, most Guests opt to view this nighttime spectacular from Main Street U.S.A. with a view of the iconic Sleeping Beauty Castle, and crowds will gather an hour or more before showtime. However, there are other wonderful areas from which to view the show, as the imagery and lighting are projected on the Main Street, U.S.A. buildings and on the "it's a small world" facade, in Fantasyland. Ultimately, you can't go wrong if you are close enough to a projection location to see the visual stories unfold - they really are spectacular!

I also want to mention another new nighttime spectacular over in Disney California Adventure Park. World of Color - ONE is also fantastic and worth seeing if you have time during your visit. You can join the virtual queue at 12:00 p.m. PST on the day of your visit using the Disneyland mobile app to secure a spot in the reserved viewing areas.

I hope this helps offer some advice on viewing the nighttime spectaculars at Disneyland Resort. If you're anything like me, bring your tissues, because I feel a swell of emotion every time I experience the beauty and inspiration of Disney storytelling through these amazing shows! I hope you and your family love them as much as I do. If I can offer any other recommendations, please reach out again, Monica. I'd love to see you come back and send another question our way!

    Wishing you Wondrous Journeys,
    Tishra
