Hi! I want to know if I can make Fastpass+ selections for the rides the night I will be attending MVMCP? Are there any restaurants opened for MVMCP? Thanks for your help.

    Hi Iveima,

Thanks for your questions. I just got home from attending the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party of the season last night, so I'm happy to be able to help.

It did not appear that FastPasses were in use during the party. One of the advantages of the special events is that the number of guests is limited, so even on a sold-out evening like last night, wait times should be minimal. For example, the wait for Space Mountain was posted as just 10 minutes at 10:30 last night. I didn't see any waits longer than 15 minutes.

There is food available during the party at a limited number of quick service venues, including Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe (burgers, sandwiches and taco salads); Casey's Corner (hot dogs, fries and nachos); Westward Ho (corn dogs and snacks); Sleepy Hollow (funnel cake, ice cream and waffle sandwiches); Gaston's Tavern (cinnamon rolls, pork shanks, carrots and celery, fruit and hummus); and Cosmic Ray's (burgers and chicken nuggets).

A number of the kiosks, including the turkey leg and churro stands in Frontierland and the Liberty Square Market, also were open.

We grabbed a taco salad and a veggie burger at Peco Bill's but sort of wished we had eaten before we arrived at the party so that we wouldn't have had to take a break from the festivities to eat.

We did enjoy our free cookies and hot chocolate, available at seven treat stations throughout Magic Kingdom..

Wishing you a great visit to Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Part and the Walt Disney World resort. Enjoy!
