    I know a family traveling to Walt Disney World in December... question is they are traveling with a 12 month old. Will that child be allowed on some of the rides? Maryann

     Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Maryann. We're always glad when you stop by!

     I'm so excited to hear your friends are planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort this December. The holiday season is an exceptionally magical time! Please tell them that there are lots of family-friendly attractions their 12-month old can enjoy during their stay. My family just returned from our vacation and my 11-month old rode most attractions with us including Peter Pan's Flight, Frozen Ever After, Toy Story Mania!, and Kilimanjaro Safaris. I would encourage your friends to review the list of all attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort. The list can be filtered by thrill level, interests, height, and accessibility. There are over 100 attractions with no height restrictions and nearly all of them will be suitable to experience with their little one. 

     Did you know free planning videos are available online? These videos include lots of helpful information and tips about planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I hope you and your friends find them helpful!
