Do you know how much extra it would be to upgrade three children under 10 from the Children's men on the Regular Dining Plan so that they can choose from the adult menu? We have booked for 14 days.

    Hi there Roy,

This is a tricky situation, because in order to upgrade the children to the adult dining plan, you would also be required to upgrade their park tickets to adult as well.  This would be very costly so you would have to look at the costs and weigh out whether the price increase will be worth it.

The difference in price on the Dining Plan alone will run your $38.43 per night per child times 14 nights totals $538.02.  The ticket prices will vary depending on the exact package specifics, but to upgrade the tickets would cost an additional charge which depends on the length and option of your tickets... i.e: Park Hopper, Water Park Fun and More, etc.

On a lighter note, I have a daughter who has a mature taste in foods and we have been very surprised by the available options on the children's menus around Walt Disney World, especially at the table service locations.  The portion size is always more than enough and we have really enjoyed the variety of available options.

The best way to determine the total cost of upgrade will be to contact the Walt Disney Travel Company with your confirmation number.  A friendly cast member will be able to calculate the exact total for you based on your purchased options!

    Best Wishes,
