Hi, Michael! Welcome to planDisney and Disney Cruise Line! Thank you for sailing our way as you prepare for your Disney Cruise Line adventure! Before I share all the fun
activities you can pre-book, let’s determine your booking window.
Once your cruise is paid in full, you can make reservations online as soon as your booking window opens. Your Castaway Club membership level determines the advance booking window. If this is your first cruise, your window opens 75 days before sailing. The date is also listed on your reservation under Cruise Activities.
A Disney Cruise is the perfect vacation for families because there are so many fun onboard activities happening all around the ship. While many things do not need to be pre-booked, there are a few reservations that you’ll want to secure early. Besides Port Adventures, you can reserve spa appointments, adult-exclusive dining, nursery times, beverage tastings, and some character encounters. The most coveted reservations for adults are
Palo Brunch and
beverage tastings. I’d make those my first stop on the Cruise Activities page. Depending on the length of your cruise and the ship,
Olaf’s Royal Picnic and
Royal Court Royal Tea are popular with junior sailors.
Michael, no cruise is complete without a photo with your favorite Disney Pals. The Royal Gathering of princesses can currently be reserved 30 days before your sailing. However, there are plenty of opportunities to meet princesses, princes, and even “The Captains.” I mean Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie, of course, but you can also meet the ship’s captain too! Check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for times and locations – no need to pre-book.
Once you’re on the ship, you can sit back and relax because all the planning is done. Since it’s not quite time to zip up those suitcases, please let us know if you have any more questions. We are always happy to help!
SEAS the adventure!
