I want to know if I can exchange my quick service meals and my snakpcks in my disney hotel or different dissney hotels besides in the parks. Thank you

    Welcome to planDisney, Rosa!

My family loves visiting Walt Disney World--even more so when we are using a Disney Dining Plan!

Your Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan is a great way to prepay for so many delicious meals, and you can do so at any Quick-Service restaurant that participates in the plan. No need to exchange. Looking for snacks? You'll see those listed on signs at QS restaurants and other locations throughout the parks and hotels. So easy!

We like to map out which restaurants we'd like to try when using our Dining Plan, usually focusing on the menu and the location. To see your options, check out this list of Quick-Service Restaurants: there are so many to choose from!

Some favorite non-park Quick-Service restaurants offer options you just cannot find at other Quick-Serves. For example, at breakfast, you can try the famous Tonga Toast at Captain Cook's which is located at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I was craving this very item on a recent trip, but did not have a reservation at Kona Cafe, where it is a menu staple. No worries. I ordered through the My Disney Experience app and selected my Quick-Service meal as payment.

My family loves to visit other resorts while touring Walt Disney World, so we take a break from the summer heat with a stop at a nearby Disney hotel. From Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, take the Resort Bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge to experience a truly unique, authentic experience. Check out which animals are out and about on their four savannas. Talk with an Animal Specialist to get a better understanding of the 30 species there, then head to The Mara and order a delicious Chermoula-spiced Shrimp Bowl or Fire-roasted Tomato and Herbed Ricotta Flatbread for lunch or dinner using a QS meal. Do not forget that you also get a beverage and a dessert. While here, I always opt for the Zebra Dome or the Chocolate Antelope Horn. So good!

Rosa, guests may also use their Disney Dining Plans at Disney Springs; I highly recommend that you look at those menus as well. On a recent visit, my husband and I used our QS meals at The Polite Pig and I am so glad that we did! I ordered the special of the day--short rib--and, oh, my goodness, it was outstanding...and included as a QS meal. Whoa.

Keep in mind that if you are not staying at a particular resort, you may not be allowed to park there to pick up an order. However, using Disney Resort Transportation will easily get you where you need to be--without the stress of driving.

Rosa, as you plan your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth--and how to best use your Quick-Service Dining Plan---be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
