Thank you for dropping by with your question about Stormalong Bay at Disney's Beach Club Resort. This is a phenomenal pool, one of the larger ones associated with a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and the only sandy bottom pool on the property! While this is an attraction itself and a big reason people will stay at the Beach Club Resort, you are correct that it will be undergoing maintenance. Let's review what we know so far.
Currently, Disney has announced that
Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck pool at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts will be closed from January 2025 through June 2025. Disney did not specifically state any dates in their announcement but as it reads, I would assume it would be the whole month of January through the entire month of June. Guests will be encouraged to visit Tidal, Admiral and Duenes Cove leisure pools during this refurbishment.
Jennifer, I did want to remind you that staying onsite with the Disney Resorts Collection comes with so many perks. One of the big ones in 2025 will be enjoying a complimentary
Water Park Day on the day of check-in. You will have the ability to visit either park on the date of your arrival for a relaxing start to your vacation.
