Hi Robert,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! I’d be more than happy to answer it!
Looks like you’ll be coming in 2023, so now is the perfect time to be thinking about where you’re staying and making that reservation. When I think about where I want to stay, location is definitely one of the factors I consider. Though proximity to the Theme Parks differ from Resort to Resort, I honestly think you’d be happy staying at any of them since each Resort has
transportation options to and from the Theme Parks. Of course, if you want to stay close to
Magic Kingdom Park, you'll want to stay at resorts like
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or
Disney's Contemporary Resort.
One of the other things you should think about is the theme of the room and your overall budget. If you have kids coming on this trip, I always suggest looking into
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, the rooms are super fun and you’re only a
Disney Skyliner ride away from
EPCOT and
Disney’s Hollywood Studios. If budget is a priority, you can look into the other
Value Resorts like
Disney’s All-Star Movies or
All-Star Music. These are located closer to
Disney's Animal Kingdom You could also think about
Disney’s BoardWalk Inn,
Disney’s Yacht Club, or
Disney’s Beach Club Resorts. All of these are in walking distance to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then only a bus ride away from Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Park!
I’m also going to link a recent planDisney Podcast that specifically discusses
Disney Resorts Collection hotels. My fellow panelists
Amy and
Julie did an amazing job and I think it’ll be super helpful to you as you’re deciding on your Resort!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort trip. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
